Frequently Asked Questions
Everything shade and screen dealers ask before hiring an SEO agency for their awning or retractable screen company — grouped by topic. Don’t see yours? Ask us directly.
About The Niche
Isn’t demand too seasonal for SEO to be worth it?
It’s seasonal, which is exactly why SEO matters. Paid ads switch off the moment you stop paying, but rankings built in the quiet months are already in place when demand surges in spring — and the off-season inquiries that do happen go to whoever still ranks. We also target the research-stage searches people run over winter, so you’re capturing buyers before your competitors reappear.
Do you work with companies that do both residential and commercial jobs?
Yes — and we’d encourage it. Commercial canopy and storefront work is often higher value and less contested on Google than residential patio searches. We map both so you’re not leaving the more profitable side of the business off your website.
Why only this one niche?
Because a generalist marketing agency spread across 25 home service trades can’t stay current on how awning and screen buyers specifically search, object, and decide. We only serve this niche, so every page, every FAQ, and every campaign is built from real experience in it — not a template.
How is this different from a general SEO agency?
Most agencies that mention awnings or screens list it as one line among dozens of trades they serve. We don’t. ShadeProSEO exists to serve outdoor shade awning and retractable screen dealers exclusively, and it’s built by people who run a real dealership themselves.
Exclusivity & Trust
Will you work with my direct competitor in my market?
No. We take one shade or screen dealer per city, no exceptions. Once you sign on for your market, every other dealer there is who we are working against — your investment is never funding your own competitor’s rankings.
Do you reuse the same content and strategy for every client?
No. Your keyword targeting, local pages, and Google Business Profile work are built around the specific markets and products you sell. What carries over from one dealer to the next is the underlying system — the process, not the content.
Pricing & Contract
How much does it cost?
Every client starts with a 3-month trial at $250/month, no long-term contract. After that it is one full-service price, $700/month (our founding-client rate, locked in for as long as you stay), and we only take one awning or retractable screen dealer per city. See the Pricing page for everything that’s included.
Do you require a long-term contract?
No. We ask for a 3-month trial because SEO needs that long to show real movement, but after that it’s month-to-month. If it’s not working, you’re not locked in.
Results, Timeline & Process
How soon will I see results?
Local SEO and Google Business Profile improvements typically show movement within 60-90 days; organic rankings for competitive keywords build over several months. We front-load visibility ahead of your busy season so gains land when demand is highest.
What if I already have a website I like?
You keep it exactly as it is. We have already built optimized awning and retractable screen sites. We configure one around your company and your city, and you point your domain to it (we walk you through it, it takes minutes). Your current site, your domain, and your Google Business Profile stay yours the whole time. If you ever step away, you point your domain back and nothing changes on your end.
How do you report results?
Monthly reporting covering rankings, Google Business Profile visibility, and lead activity — plain numbers, not an agency dashboard full of vanity metrics.
What do you need from me to get started?
Access to your Google Business Profile, a few minutes to point your domain to the site we configure for you (we walk you through it), the list of markets/towns you serve, and any current reviews or job photos you want featured. We’ll guide you through the rest.
